Dr. Nghia Tran

Dr Nghia Tran is an experienced academic with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Higher Education Studies from The University of Melbourne. He completed his formal education in Vietnam, Denmark, Spain, the United Kingdom and Australia, all as a scholarship recipient. After eight years working in the Vietnamese higher education sector, in 2012 he moved to Australia to build his academic career in an international arena, with accumulated teaching and research experience at Deakin University, Swinburne University of Technology, Monash University, and The Australian National University. Since 2015, he has (co)authored more than 60 academic publications, both qualitative and quantitative research, in the areas of graduate employability, work-integrated learning (WIL), teacher education, international education, and English language teaching. He has also received several research grants, scholarships and awards for his academic excellence.
